Tony Rico Richardson est un saxophoniste indépendant très occupé. Il a enregistré et tourné dans plus de 36 pays avec des artistes tels que Ernest Ranglin, Maceo Parker, Dr John, Ron Wood, KT Tunstall, Prince Buster, Desmond Dekker, Bad Manners, Phyllis Dylon, Neville Staple, Lemar, Liane Carroll, The Ordinary Boys, Amy Winehouse, Anthony Costa, Pixie Lott, Seal, Sam and the Womp, Hamish Stuart, The Saturdays, Soweto Kinch, Dawn Penn et Ben Millls.
Il est actuellement en tournée avec le groupe Sam and the Womp. Tony joue de l'alto TJ Signature Custom "raw" et du ténor Trevor James SR.
